Sharon has been with Gov. Barnes since 1995 and worked with other attorneys within the Barnes Browning Tanksley and Casurella firm since 1985.  She was with Gov. Barnes and John Salter when the firm opened its doors on July 2, 2003, which was then located on the Marietta Square. Sharon also followed Gov. Barnes to the Capitol during his administration where she was his personal scheduler.  During these years she has been a legal assistant/paralegal and executive assistant to Gov. Barnes.  Currently, Sharon is part-time/remote scheduler for Gov. Barnes.  She and her husband now live in Greensboro, GA where they are enjoying partial retirement and time with family and friends boating on Lake Oconee, gardening and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
